Imagine - Education for a better world
2010 Africa, Europe and Middle East regional conference
Liverpool September 26-29
Imagine...education as life-long learning for all, to allow us not only to dream of a better world through intercultural understanding and respect, but to develop the capabilities to make this dream come true. In each of us is the hope of creating a better future and the belief that education has the power to bring this vision nearer.
The IB Africa, Europe & Middle East regional conference in Liverpool is a unique forum to draw together the ideas and creativity of educators from a diverse range of countries and cultures from our region. Among the many offerings, there will be opportunities to share schools’ examples of good practice as well as to explore issues relating to education for intercultural understanding and respect, education for life-long learning and education for all.
Through discussion and debate, over 750 participants from as many as 83 different countries will enjoy the opportunity to collaborate and to imagine how we can meet the challenges posed by such cultural diversity.
