Who benefits from the Diploma Programme Online?
The International Baccalaureate® has signed a long term, comprehensive cooperation agreement with Pamoja Education, covering the development and delivery of a broad range of online courses for the IB Diploma Programme.
Some of the main benefits of the project will be for:
- IB World Schools that wish to offer their students more subject choice.
- Students in IB World Schools who want to engage with students around the world.
- Students unable to attend an IB World School yet want to experience an IB education.
- Teachers who wish to develop new skills
Opportunities to participate
The online courses are currently available in English to internal students at IB World Schools already authorized to offer the Diploma Programme.
Additionally, these schools will soon have the opportunity to receive a supplemental authorization to become an IB “Open” World School, permitting outside students to enrol for online courses through the school.
