Curriculum and Assessment Manager - Middle Years Programme (MYP) Ref 504H

Salary: 46,000 - 57,000 Euros pers year

Closing date: 27 April 2010

You will be the author of curriculum guides, curriculum support documents, and teacher support materials in two main areas of the MYP (Sciences and either Mathematics or Physical Education). You will also manage the development and implementation of assessment practices in these areas.

You will be a qualified secondary/middle school teacher with significant teaching experience, at least 2 years of which must be in a school authorized to implement the MYP. Experience of supporting the development of the MYP as a programme coordinator, an MYP workshop leader, an MYP moderator, or a school visitor is desirable. You will have experience in curriculum development or supporting the learning of other adults. You will also be able to show evidence of further professional learning. You will be an excellent communicator, attentive to detail and flexible enough to accommodate a variety of work arrangements. You will be able to lead and work within teams. A good command of English is essential and knowledge of French or Spanish would be an advantage. IT skills, including the ability to use a variety of desktop applications are essential. Experience in using collaborative technologies is desirable.

This post will be based in a new global centre in The Hague, the Netherlands. An international hire package will be available to assist a successful candidate to relocate to the Netherlands.

 

The position will involve some international travel.
