Diploma Programme Administrative Coordinator Ref 253

Salary:£17,038 - £24,200 per year dependant upon experience

Applications are invited for the post of Diploma Programme administrative coordinator.  The position will support the head of Diploma Programme development in the management, development and effective delivery of the Diploma Programme.

You will manage the overall administration of the department as well as communicate Diploma Programme procedures, monitor delegated aspects of the departmental budget and line manage the administrative assistant for the Diploma Programme.  You will manage the administrative process of strategic Diploma Programme meetings including the prior preparation of documents to a high standard and providing accurate minutes afterwards.

You will be a graduate and have substantial administrative experience, preferably in an educational environment, with experience of supervising or managing staff.  Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication are required, as are a high level of written English and good verbal communication skills.  An ability to prioritize work effective, to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail, and to work independently while managing diverse workloads are all essential.

Given the nature of the role, occasional weekend working will be necessary.

This post is full-time, based in Cardiff, commencing in July 2008.
