Applications are sought for maternity cover for a part time post within the IBIS administration team of the examinations administration department. The examinations administration department is responsible for the successful delivery of two examination sessions each year for schools in over 120 countries. This is achieved through teams of skilled staff dedicated to various aspects of administration, including a team responsible for maintaining information held on the IB database (IBIS) for schools and examiners.
The work is intensive, requires a high degree of personal organization and initiative, and there is an occasional requirement to work out of normal office hours (including weekend working). You will be an excellent communicator with a high level of IT skills in the use of databases and word processing, be educated to at least IB diploma or A-level standard and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The post holder will act as the front line support to users of the IB database. The post also carries particular responsibility for maintaining accurate information, data and documents in English, French and Spanish on the IB database for schools and examiners to ensure all end users are able to successfully complete administrative tasks. Previous experience of working with ICT systems and record systems would be an advantage.
