Marketing and communications manager, publications group REf 102
Salary: £19,783 - £26,378

As a key member of the sales and marketing department of the publications group, you will manage promotion, marketing and communications, including internal and external communication of publications group plans and developments and the marketing and promotion of programme and commercial publications and products. You will also be responsible for the management and development of the IB gift items range and merchandise agreements with external suppliers, and will contribute to the implementation and expansion of the group’s market research plan.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have proven managerial experience in a marketing and/or communications role, preferably in a commercial publishing environment. You will have experience of working with a variety of external suppliers and in negotiating and managing contracts and be able to manage and prioritize projects effectively. You will possess strong organizational, communication, analytical and reporting skills and be able to use your initiative in carrying out your accountabilities. You must have an excellent command of the English language.
Qualifications from professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing or other relevant post-graduate qualifications, experience of work in an international setting and/or of work in an educational environment and a good
working knowledge of French and/or Spanish would all be beneficial.
