The PYP associate regional manager will join a team currently made up of the PYP regional manager, two PYP associate regional managers and a PYP assistant. The team is responsible for advising, facilitating, supporting and informing the development and expansion of the PYP in the Asia Pacific region.
The position involves visiting and working with schools throughout the region to maintain quality assurance in consultation, pre-authorization, authorization and programme evaluation. The job holder will play a key role in the development of teacher education initiatives collaborating in the development of appropriate IB regional workshops, in-school training and training of workshop leaders.
The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced, qualified, highly successful teacher or administrator in an IB World School offering the PYP preferably in the Asia Pacific region. The candidate must have had at least 3 years experience as a PYP teacher and experience as a coordinator.
The post holder must be a team player and an excellent communicator who is able to work effectively with people from a wide variety of cultures.
Due to the nature of the work this role will entail extensive travel, including many weekend absences from Singapore.
The salary package will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location. Reasonable relocation expenses will be available for the successful candidate.
