The examinations administration department is responsible for the successful management of two examination sessions each year for IB World Schools in over 120 countries. This is achieved through teams of skilled staff dedicated to various aspects of administration, including a team responsible for advising schools on the administration of the IB Diploma Programme and a team responsible for maintaining information held on the IB database (IBIS) for schools and examiners.

This post is located within the coordinator help desk within the examinations administration department. You will be responsible for providing advice to schools and therefore excellent customer service skills are essential and previous experience of working within a customer service environment is desirable. 

The work can be intensive, requires a high degree of personal organization and initiative, and there is an occasional requirement to work out of normal office hours (including weekend working). You will be a good communicator with a high level of IT skills in the use of databases, e-mail and word processing. You will be educated to at least IB diploma or A level standard and be able to work independently and as part of a team.  In addition to advising schools by phone and e-mail, the post holder will be given additional responsibilities that support the administration of each examination session.
