You will manage and develop the Cardiff finance department in order to ensure the department provides an efficient and effective service. Working with the Cardiff finance manager you will compile the quarterly forecasts, annual accounts and annual budget proposals for the Cardiff and Bath offices. Based in Cardiff, you will be communicating with other finance offices around the world.
You will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) in the latter stages of your study with at least five years’ experience of working in a finance office and ideally some managerial experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational and numerical skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team. You should be used to working on your own initiative, prioritizing your workload and working to tight deadlines. IT literacy skills, especially those of Excel, are also essential. Knowledge of Oracle Financials would be an advantage.
