Curriculum manager - Primary Years Programme. 2 year fixed term contract Ref 124
Salary: £30,284 - £35,581*

This position will involve the development of early childhood and primary years curriculum and assessment documentation. Although subject areas do not confine learning in the Primary Years Programme, the following subjects have relevance throughout the programme: language, mathematics, social studies, science, arts, and personal, social and physical education. In your application please indicate the subject areas in which you have a particular interest or expertise. The collection and management of information from schools, consultants and researchers is a significant part of this responsibility. The curriculum manager reports directly to the head of the Primary Years Programme.
You will be a qualified early childhood/primary teacher with teaching experience, some of which must be in an international context. Previous experience of the Primary Years Programme is desirable. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. In addition, knowledge of Spanish or French would be an advantage. Experience in curriculum development, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively are vital. IT skills, including the ability to use a variety of desktop applications are also essential.
A two-year contract will be offered for this post and teachers on a leave of absence or sabbatical are encouraged to apply.
