Research Manager - Programme Validation

The post holder will develop and manage research projects that provide evidence to demonstrate the impact of our programs on students and schools and quality of our services. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and managing all facets of the research projects on program validation within this region from design and implementation to reporting and final documents. The post holder will analyze both qualitative and quantitative data that validate the claims of the programs and provide evidence of the benefits and positive impact on students and schools. They will work with IB staff members, research assistants and external research consultants to manage projects to get the best results for the organization.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A masters’ degree in a social science, research, or related field with an emphasis on quantitative and qualitative research
- Training and proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- At least two years of successful experience in conducting and managing research projects
- Broad understanding of the field of education, its practices, policies, politics, and programmes
- Familiarity with the resources available for research in the field of education
- Significant skills in Information Technology, data analysis and web software
- Excellent written and spoken English Language skills
The salary package will commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience.
