IB Asia-Pacific
The IB Asia Pacific region supports more than 400 schools offering more than 560 programmes in 27 countries. We are responsible for authorizing new schools, evaluating IB World Schools, providing professional development services in the schools and in sub-regional locations, and ensuring that the IB Diploma Programme is recognized by universities worldwide.
Professional Development
We design regional workshops for the specific learning needs of our community. Whether you are already a teacher but new to IB teaching methods or a veteran, you will find workshops that will invigorate your teaching practices. You will be able to meet your peers from other countries, learn new teaching techniques and share best practices.
School services
The IB offers the following programmes:
- Primary Years Programme ( ages 3 to 12)
- Middle Years Programme (ages 11 to 16)
- Diploma Programme (ages 16 to 19)
Recognition
The IB Diploma Programme is widely recognized and accepted by universities around the world. IB students routinely gain admission to some of the best known universities in the world.
