Diploma Programme (DP)
Diploma Programme: From principles into practice
This publication is now available on the OCC and the IB Store. Focusing on the programme as a whole, it explores the educational principles and practices that need to be nurtured in schools so that a solid foundation for a successful Diploma Programme can be established and maintained. Self-evaluation is essential for school improvement and this document, together with the Programme standards and practices, is intended to provide guidance and support for schools in that process.
International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC) Update
The International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC) is a new IB initiative (not a new IB programme), that aims to work with, and support, schools and colleges that wish to add an international dimension to their vocational offerings. The IBCC incorporates the educational principles, vision and learner profile of the IB, into local school and college vocational programmes and specifically addresses the needs of students engaged in career-related education. The IB’s involvement allows these students to be exposed to elements of an IB education, through a selection of DP subjects and a unique IBCC core.
Please check the IBCC website for further information.
