About the universities—Curtin University of Technology
Curtin University of Technology (Perth, Australia) has had three initial teacher education courses of study recognized as meeting the requirements of the Level 1 award. The Bachelor of Education courses (Early Childhood Education/ Primary/Secondary) enable students to gain the skills and understandings of the philosophy and underlying concepts of the IB Primary Years Programme and the IB Middle Years Programme respectively. Students who successfully complete specified units and a requisite internship will be eligible for an IB teacher award - Level 1. Further details about the courses will be posted in due course.
